Attendees got to see Otomad mixes and original collaborations made especially for the event, such as Chromeme2!
Chromeme2
The collaboration brings together 27 participants over the course of half an hour to deliver an 18-part EDM mix. The previous entry in the series was originally made for OTOLIVE, a Chinese offline event held last year, on August 16th, 2025.
Sorimix 2
Another offline event, that took place in Seoul on August 8th, 2026, was also broadcast live on YouTube, and can be seen in full below!

yuri shop (NL)
This BGM gets used a lot, but the ambience here makes it special to me. The warm soundscape and second-section ghosting feel wonderfully dreamlike and serene. I love anime videos with enough spirit to feel like an experience. I might be biased as a friend, but NL’s work is always a visual and audio treat.
red starry dance (Slop)
You might relate: I often prefer YTPMVs to the original songs. The colorful, slightly psychedelic visuals fit perfectly, and the sampled guitar sound gives it a great PS1-era game track vibe. The snappy, full drums add a whole new dimension compared to the original’s lo-fi hip-hop loop feel.
【UNDERTALE 音MAD】 Stronger Sisters (ImpossibleCarl)
I tend to prefer YTPMV style over MADs, but blending them adds energy a straight cover can’t match. I’ve always loved Carl’s classic ‘Big Finale’ and ‘We Tried Being Clowns’—the reverbed, chorused sounds and smooth mask movements are huge inspirations. This feels like a pastiche of his classic work, but packed with years of refined skill.
Bad Noapple!! (ますとも)
I can be on the fence about raw sampling unless it’s well-polished or genuinely entertaining. This captures that classic 2009 YTPMV/MAD style, where the original scene is half the fun. Plus, Hinata’s crying has a wavy vibrato texture that mirrors the classic ZUNpet trumpet sound.
Some Rubbish I Forgot To Upload Earlier (TheAwesomePandaLPs)
This one is rough around the edges, but means a lot to me. Made in 2011 by cheetahmen92, it pairs the bootleg Mega Drive game Dial Q O Mawase! with ChuckleVision, a show I grew up with. The BGM is loud and the samples aren’t clean, but I still love it. It was made by an artist who inspired me, whom I looked up to, and who eventually became a friend.

Brando: みんなコロブチカないじゃない! (Ostrich)
I’m a huge fan of videos that use limited sources, and this video is a great example as to why. Using only one scene with limited lines it manages to create an audio with plenty of jokes and techniques that make the video incredibly entertaining. Using such a serious scene from Madoka to create a funny video like this also adds a lot to the humor in it.
