Infinity of McDonald premiere
The 20th Ronald McDonald collaboration, Infinity of McDonald, is almost here! Featuring over 100 participants and an original medley, the collab will be premiering on July 20th at midnight Japan time… which is just roughly 1 hour before this edition of Re:play goes live! We’ll update this page with the YouTube link to the full collaboration as soon as it’s available!
SiIvaGunner at NärCon
Friends to the YTPMV and Otomad community and uploader of only high quality video game rips, SiIvaGunner, will be having their first in-person event in Europe, at NärCon in Sweden, during July 23-26! Featuring many activities, ranging from a panel, a meet & greet, and a brand new rave, it’s going to be a grand ‘ol time! Re:Sample 1st year anniversary
For those that may have missed it, July 14 marked the 1 year anniversary of Re:Sample!
A few days ago we published an article sharing some of the things we’ve accomplished this past year, and a retrospective from several of us here on the Re:Sample team. But most of all, we want to again thank you, the Otomad and YTPMV community, for making any of this possible. Thank you!

題名が思い浮かばない (PuzzlyGames)
Admittedly, this video is always in my mind given the combination and the simplicity of it. The lyrics of What’s New, Scooby-Doo theme song work really well to the tune of Goodbye Declaration, and I enjoy both songs. The theme song specifically is one of the few songs I know from memory as I used to watch the show as a kid. Goodbye Declaration is also a very hype song and I look forward to new videos using it as the BGM. Also, the order of the lyrics are unaltered from the theme song, which I think demonstrates that simple ideas can be as memorable as more ambitious ones, and also how much these two songs are meant for each other.
ワリオしてないのにママ怒うざん♪ (・O・)
Before anyone asks “how did you find this video with only 28 views?”, I looked up “ytpmv -scan -scans” in the search bar and filtered results by videos uploaded today (May 8th, 2026). This is also another video on my mind for its simplicity, the rhythm fits too well. The source, あるある探検隊トリオ, is a very interesting source to me given how far people can take it with the limited resources available. Lines such as “新しい物がほしいですか？” and “探検隊、探検隊、ある探検隊！” work well to the rhythm. Overall, it’s a simple yet catchy video.

This video has been on my mind since it’s a weird feeling to have when someone does the same idea you had, and it’s someone you haven’t heard of before. This video blew me away in the second half; I just did not expect it to become more serious if that makes sense. When the visuals frame IA as Justin Bieber’s crush, it made me realize that the story in Baby and in Nounai Disco are similar, and shows the level of thought that went into this short video (or maybe I’m looking too deep into things). While I don’t think salad (@szalad_) was aware of my video, I think this shows that people shouldn’t be afraid to work on an idea that’s been done before. I get the sense that people get discouraged when they find out they are not the first, but I say: “more the merrier!” Lastly, if anyone knows me, you know I like the BGM a lot lol.
HAMU (kaishoki)
Kaishoki is currently one of my favorite creators at the moment given their unique style of sound. This is best exemplified in the last lead sample in my opinion; it sounds rough yet clean at the same time which gives the audio a unique feeling. This is also another example of doing a lot with a little, and Kaishoki even included some nonsensical Hamood Habibi shitposts too. The title is also genius, being a pun on Lamu and Hamood Habibi, and I am a sucker for good puns. Lastly, I’m not a fan of the Italian tradition of composing new songs for their dubs, but this song is undeniably a bop and Kaishoki covers the chorus beautifully.
Escoria del Teléfono Celular (tonto)
This video is just immaculate; it’s cleanly covered and has good gags throughout. The visual gag of Dross using the phone is really funny, and the phone beeps in the audio along with the subtitles (with my little understanding of Spanish) really sell the humor. The “zzz co;o xdddd” text has been stuck in my head for a long time. I also like the Dross scream solo(?) around 0:46 to 0:59 and how it’s chopped so rhythmically. I don’t know if that’s a part of the original song but it sounds very free-style to me, which I respect. Another reason as to why this won’t leave my mind is that it was one of the reference videos Shoelace Bother and I used for our Dross video. The inspiration visually is best seen at 1:08 where I tried recreating the Sony Vegas text effect in AviUtl.
Re:Sample Staff Pick
CH FR: 電話糸電話 (Anonymous)
While this video isn’t the very first use of itodenwa in an Otomad, it was my first introduction to it.
It doesn’t feel like you should be able to squeeze such fun jokes out of a combined 5 seconds of clips, and yet, the anonymous uploader managed to conjure up an incredibly entertaining video. There is also a big attention to details, for example, after they go off-screen (due to another fun mishearing gag), the text is presented in this very amusing way that shows they’re way out of frame.
The video is clever, funny, its chorus delivers, and it kickstarted one of my favorite sources. Definitely an all-timer.
