SiIvaGunner at U.S. IdolFes
Our friends at SiIvaGunner will be performing a brand new DJ set at U.S. IdolFes in Redondo Beach, California on the night of Thursday, October 29th! Attendees can catch an idol-themed performance, meet some of the team members behind the channel, and pick up exclusive merch made just for IdolFes. Registration for the event can be found here:

OTOMAD CONTEXT has announced Migara Kakuho (“Taken Into Custody”), an Otomad × Remix × DJ event centered around the madflip genre, taking place at CIRCUS Tokyo in Shibuya on December 30th!
In addition to DJ sets hosted by Japanese creators on the main and subfloor, a madflip collaboration featuring over 40 participants will premiere at the event, and an open collaboration is also being held – tracks can be submitted via the form here!
The event will also have a lounge area hosting several mini-events! The organizers add that they’d be happy to see anyone who’s even a little interested, even if loud music or crowds make them uneasy.
Tickets will be limited to 200 and will be sold by lottery through LivePocket.
O-ffnLine2
The Korean offline event O-ffnLine is returning for a second round on January 16th, 2027! O-ffnLine is an event where attendees vote on the Otomads they want to see, which are then screened for everyone to enjoy together at the venue. You can vote even if you are unable to participate in the event! The voting form can be found here!

Dribbling Fever (thwy)
The video that most hooked me this year! The lively percussion, piano backing track and clear lead - every sound felt so pleasant and captivating.
The video made me listen to the original song it’s covering, and while the tropical feel remains, the original instruments give it a very vibrant and different atmosphere.
This is a wonderful arrangement that retains the original feeling of the song while incorporating a very YTPMV-ish synth sound.
Beep Fusion Skyway *Perfect Live 1986* (Jupy)
I was blown away by the realism of the live sounds, such as the bass and guitar cutting. The original song features staccato stringed instrument phrases, and the addition of vocals and other sound effects creates a stylish arrangement that perfectly captures the atmosphere of the source material.
The original song is from a level in Super Mario 3D World, played during a level with a gimmick where red and blue blocks alternate as a beeping sound plays, and the way they incorporated that element into the visuals is very cool as well.
17 - 216ばんどうろ (がしら)
This was part of a collab, but it left such an impact on me I had to share it!
Despite being a YTPMV, it’s an incredible work that shows the love the creator has for this character.
Every element in this work, from the perfect match between the music and the visuals to the soft yet vibrant colors and stunningly innovative screen composition feels like it was made to complement the character. It makes you understand her charm in a fascinating way.
The scene used around the end of the video, where she lifts her clothes to reveal her swimsuit adds a touch of sexiness to the work, and is a beautifully crafted bit of video composition that really draws you in.

Incredibly cool and stylish!
You can tell they were having fun playing around with the samples when they made it.
At first glance you might think this is a simple video, with one repeating phrase and various indistinct sounds being layered on top of the original track.
But, creating such a beautiful unison of sounds requires a serious harmony of the timbres, and quite a lot of delicate work.
The way the prominent percussion and bass create a strong groove against the somewhat indistinct main melody is also fantastic.
myamuしい (聖なるバリア －ミラーフォース－)
I love the sentencing and video composition that perfectly complement the song’s progression!
The way the sentencing shifted tempo along with the song with the “Arienai!” line left quite an impact.
Despite the pixelated visuals - from the cute pixel art to the blocky text, the video still manages to convey an impressing feeling of “having space”.
It’s a wonderful video that conveys a love for the character from beginning to end.
Dribbling Fever (thwy)
今年一番刺さった動画です！賑やかなパーカッション、ピアノのバッキング、輪郭がハッキリしたメインリードなど、一つ一つの音があまりに心地良く、魅了されました。
この動画をきっかけに原曲を聴いてみましたが、そちらではトロピカルなイメージは変わらないものの、生音が非常に活き活きとしていてまた違った雰囲気の楽曲になっています。
そんな原曲のイメージを残しつつも、YTPMVらしいシンセサウンドに落とし込んだ素敵なアレンジの作品です。

ベースやギターのカッティングなど生音のリアリティに衝撃を受けました。原曲では弦楽器をスタッカートで鳴らしているフレーズに、声を充てたりFXを混ぜたりと、粋なアレンジで素材元にあった雰囲気を形作っています。
原曲はスーパーマリオ3DワールドのBGMで、ビープ音に合わせて赤と青のブロックが交互に出現するギミックのステージで流れる曲なんですが、その要素を見事に映像で拾い上げている点もお洒落です。
17 - 216ばんどうろ (がしら)
合作単品ですが、あまりにも衝撃を受けた作品なので載せさせてください！
YTPMVなのにも関わらず、作者はこのキャラクターのどんなところが好きなのか、感覚的な部分が伝わってくる気がする不思議な作品です。
楽曲との相性はもちろん、映像の淡くも鮮やかな色彩に、驚くほど斬新な画面構成など、ありとあらゆる要素がキャラクターに寄り添って作られている気がして、なぜかこのキャラクターのことを分かった気になれるのが面白いです。
最後の最後に服をまくり上げて水着を見せるシーンが入り、わずかに色気を混ぜられることで、グッと惹かれるのも動画の構成として非常に綺麗で感心しました。

あまりにも渋くてカッコいい！！
『音遊び』を楽しんで作っているのが伝わってきます。
ひたすら同じフレーズを繰り返す楽曲で輪郭がハッキリしない音をどんどん重ねていくという一見シンプルな動画です。
しかし、これほど綺麗なユニゾンを響かせるには、音色の調和がかなり重要で、非常に繊細な作業が求められることでしょう。
ハッキリしない主旋律に対し、存在感のあるパーカッションやベースでしっかりとグルーヴ感を作っている点も素晴らしいです。
myamuしい (聖なるバリア －ミラーフォース－)
楽曲の展開に合った丁寧な台詞合わせと動画の構成が大好きです！
インパクトある「ありえない！」から変わる曲調に合わせて台詞の内容も合わせ方も変化していくところで一気に惹かれました。
たくさん出てくるかわいいドット絵とカクカクしたテキストがいっぱい流れてくるピクセル調の映像なのにしっかりと空間を感じれるのも流石！
最初から最後までキャラクター愛を感じられる素敵な動画です。

I’m almost tempted to qualify this video as a cognitohazard. The things it does with the BGM feel like they’re purpose-built to mess with people who love Liar Dancer. It really shows the experimental nature of this
alt accI mean… promising newcomer in the Otomad space!With its BGM shuffled all over the place, its purposely underwhelming chorus, and all other matters of practical jokes, it really is a piece of meta-artistry meant to be watched primarily by other madmakers, and I love it for that.
