Nanamori Middle School - Lily-Colored Collection
Released on September 5th, featuring 37 participants, this is the first ever large-scale Yuru Yuri collaboration, celebrating it’s 15th anniversary!
SMB40
Releasing on September 13th (Japan time), SMB40 is a collaboration featuring the medley S2 by R.M. that celebrates the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. and the 45th anniversary of Mario’s birthday (Donkey Kong’s launch)!

GOODTENKI☆.mp4 (たいようかじつ)
I stumbled on this video and creator by accident back when I saw its announcement on Twitter. It being a Cookie☆ video intrigued me and on my first view blew me away with its crazy but fun visuals. It feels like something I’d see playing on an arcade cabinet for a rhythm game. I especially love the drop at the end with the Inmu switch.
the PHONY show (본인심영)
This video was sent into the Re:Sample server a month back and it has hooked me since. I always loved The Truman Show and seeing it being sourced in an OTOMAD was seriously mind blowing. I’ve never seen a video sample this movie before but it really shows how creative people get when choosing sources. I also like that towards the end it goes for that more classic mograph style of editing common with Korean MAD videos. I especially love when videos go from simple editing in the beginning and then show out towards the end, its like a little surprise for an already cool video.

This collab really felt unique in my opinion for the different styles that all these creators brought. You can really tell everyone’s individual style when it comes to each part. Incredible visual work from many young authors, and I hope to see what more they create in the future.
ノリノリなドンタコス (コサンジ, 1時)
This video is great beyond all words. This was actually the first video I saw sourcing ドンタコス which is kind of funny since I don’t think this source is as popular as it used to be. Either way its audio work is great especially the use of the Jet Set Radio soundtrack. Some parts gets stuck in your head like an earworm, I can’t listen to the original without hearing “don taco”. Visual work wise its an art piece in its self, 1時 has a way with his text animations that just pop, they are so fun and dynamic and bouncy. The animation of the mariachi guy dancing is still one of the highlights of this video to me. All in all this video is still in my top 10 to this day.
Maquinitas (Azzid)
This video is like drugs for me, the audio being the main hook for me with the visuals being the cherry on top. The line “Vamos a jugar Maquinitas” plays in my head constantly sometimes, I catch myself mouthing the lyrics, its actually really funny. The visuals are really fun, I really like the 3D model for Luisito, it is so silly looking but it really shows Azzid’s skill in his visual work. Also Sparkling Daydream is just a banger of a BGM.
